Michele De Lucchi

 
Michele De Lucchi (* 8 November 1951 in Ferrara/Italy) initial studied architecture at Pauda University before switching to Florence. In 1978 Lucchi moved to Milan to work for the Kartell in-house design team Centrokappa. In 1980 Michele De Lucchi switched to the Design Studio "Memphis" where he remained until 1990 when he established his own lighting company producing lamps in traditional handwork.
