Details
The Eames plastic side chair was produced in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art in New York's "Low-Cost Furniture" design competition and was the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.

Solid-coloured polypropylene seat-shell.
The Eames Plastic Side Chairs from Vitra contain special additives which slow down the fading process caused by ultraviolet rays.
Tubular steel base, with or without linking element.
Available with chrome-plated, or powder-coated base.
Available with glides for carpets or glides with felt pads for hard floor surfaces.
