Details

Eames Plastic Side Chair is a contemporary version of the legendary Fibreglass Chair. It was produced in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art in New York's "Low-Cost Furniture" design competition and was the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.

  • Solid-coloured polypropylene seat-shell.
  • The Eames Plastic Side Chairs from Vitra contain special additives which slow down the fading process caused by ultraviolet rays.
  • Yellow-toned maple base (2009 model), stained and varnished. Basic dark steel cross struts. For previous versions please contact us.
  • Non-stackable
  • Available with glides for carpets or glides with felt pads for hard floor surfaces.
  • Seat height +2cm with full upholstery
