For its 10th anniversary, Nils Holger Moormann is launching the brilliant Pressed Chair by Harry Thaler as a special edition, made of pure aluminium, which, thanks to the glass bead radiation, has a matt, velvety surface. The Pressed Chair is formed from a flat aluminium plate and yet extremely stable. The special edition is strictly limited to 100 pieces. Each of the consecutive numbers is a unique Pressed Chair!

Manufacturing | Aluminium is a durable light metal with a high level of resistance. Blasting it with fine glass beads roughens the surface and removes any work traces, leaving a matt, velvety finish. The subsequent anodizing procedure involves the production of a hard, dense protective layer using controlled, electrolytic oxidation, which increases the scratch and corrosion resistance. |

Care | The surface can be cleaned using a soft cloth with lukewarm water and a small amount of colourless washing-up liquid. Notice: Machining marks may be visible. The material has a slight uneven colouring, which may become more apparent over time. A visible marking of light coloured clothes is possible! |

Sustainability | The sustainability of Moormann products largely results from the use of natural materials and their processing into durable, often modular, products which offer the user the chance to adapt and modify them as required. For transporting and distribution an emphasis is placed on achieving small packing sizes and only using recycled / recyclable packaging material. Production of Moormann furniture is completed to 90% by regional suppliers thus reducing shipping requirements. |
