The Danish design office byKATO, based in Aarhus and Copenhagen, has dedicated itself to the production of contemporary, functional products appropriate for daily life. The starting point for the two designers, Karl Rüdiger Rossell and Tonny Glismand, who founded ByKATO in 2010, are always their own needs - that is: which and what furniture would they themselves use. This approach guarantees both the necessary enthusiasm and also ensures that byKATO designs really come from the heart. ByKATO is not only about honest design work, but also about the balancing act between commercial product design and highly qualified handiwork. For the Danish manufacturer Andersen, byKATO developed the stylish S3 drawer.
