With Stone by Marcel Wanders Kartell offers a highly versatile plastic stool. Flexible in use the Kartell Stone can also be used either indoors or outdoors and serves equally well as a chair as as a side table. The Kartell Stone is made from polycarbonate in a single casting and is characterized by its linear, symmetrical form highly reminiscent of an hourglass. the highlight of the Stone however is its surface: the geometric, reflective facets remind of diamonds and are responsible for the unique reflectivity of the surface and the resulting light effect. It is thus no accident that the colour selection is based on precious stones such as amber. In conjunction with their 2014 metallic collection Kartell launched a version of Marcel Wanders' Stone in a chrome metallic finish. The glossy surface of the Stone Metallic perfectly highlights the sparkling character of the Kartell stool while enhcaning the effect of the faceted look and enduing it with a new sense of grace and purpose.
The Kartell Stone can be used as a stool or as a side table
