Design Story

When the engineer Paul Schärer and architect Fritz Haller developed the USM Modular Furniture System their aim was a system which could be effortlessly adapted to meet the demands of differing locations and situations. In addition to the successful USM Tables, USM Shelves and USM Sideboards the Swiss manufacturer has continually developed a wide range of accessories via which the flexible and variable system achieves an even greater functionality. The USM sloping tray is the perfect complement for the practical mobile container and in addition to offering space for documents can be used to conveniently store all manner of office equipment and is thus the perfect solution for a workplace.
