The Thonet B 9 Pure Materials is one of the most popular furniture designs to have emerged at the Bauhaus. In the mid-1920s Marcel Breuer designed the first tubular steel furniture, a genre which in all its diversity retains cult status today. In the B 9 Pure Materials version the objects are upgraded through the use of a natural wood table top.
