How much weight can the frame support?
Lampert recommends a maximum weight of 90 kg for the trestle frame. The stable trestles can support a greater weight; however, should the table be knocked from the side or is otherwise moved, the frame can develop a certain "momentum" and potentially deform.
Which table top can be used with the frame?
In keeping with Egon Eiermann's philosophy any available flat surface can be used with the trestle as a tabletop. A selection of table tops in common formats can be found in the smow shop. Care should be taken to ensure that chosen table top extends sufficiently over the support points of the frame to prevent accidental tipping.
