Among the highly distinctive Bauhaus classics of Marcel Breuer the K40 sofa table is an important example. Designed in 1927 and currently produced by Tecta, the K40 table is distinguished by a steel tube and crystal glass connection so typical of the Bauhaus. A round table top made of crystal glass rests on the plain, curved table frame of chrome plated steel tube. The Tecta K40 with its restrained, functional shape, brings a very elegant and lasting picture to any room.
