Is it possible to equip the USM lowboard with castors?
What is the carrying capacity of a metal panel?
The maximum permissible load (surface load) for all metal elements up to a size of 750x500 mm is 50 kg.
Heavy point-like loads (eg a metal sculpture on a small base) can cause severe deflections. In such cases, and for general loads over 50 kg, please employ additional Support Profile 750.
The USM Haller Lowboard M with Extension, Customisable by Fritz Haller & Paul Schärer belongs to the extensive product portfolio of the Swiss manufacturer USM Haller and is based on the same design principle as all other USM furniture: steel tubes form a skeleton, metal panels serve as the body and chrome plated brass balls keep everything together. The USM Lowboard M is customisable, can be easily extended in all directions and is available in several different versions including, for example with a drop-down door or an extension shelf. In addition a cable outlet can be provided in the rear wall of the USM Lowboard this allowing for optimal placement of electric equipment.
