In 2023 Carl Hansen & Søn launch the CH24 Wishbone Chair Birthday Edition in honour of its creator, the exceptional designer Hans J. Wegner. One of 20 designs created by the young carpenters at THE LAB, Carl Hansen's Danish training workshop, the CH24 Wishbone Chair Birthday Edition features a double-woven paper cord seat, a feature which takes twice as long to create as the classic cord seat. An exclusive brass plate with an engraving featuring Hans J. Wegner's signature and date of birth adorns the base of the CH24 Wishbone Chair Birthday Edition 2023 and confirms its status. The special edition is strictly limited in terms of quantity and sales period.
