Particularly in combination with the Vitra LCM chair with its laminated wood and steel tube the Vitra CTM table is the perfect match: also because the seat height of the lounge chair is precisely matched to that of the coffee table. As a companion to the Vitra Plywood Chairs Charles and Ray Eames developed the CTM table, an object which although at first glance appears more reduced than the chairs, features a just as appealing mix of materials and exquisite details. In particular the moulded plywood Vitra Eames coffee table features a characteristic indent in the centre of the circular table top. Available in natural or black ash the table top is set atop a delicate, simple, tubular steel frame with four legs. Not least on account of the matching heights the CTM coffee table is the perfect complement for the LCM/LCM Leather chairs.
