...These include such classics as Geometri by Verner Panton, Small Dot Pattern by Charles and Ray Eames or Millerstripe by Alexander Girard...
The Vitra Small Dot Pattern Document Reverse cushion is the counterpart to Small Dot Pattern Document and was designed with it together in 1947 by Charles and Ray Eames. Today both are produced by Vitra using Maharam New York fabrics and thus are not only particularly decorative items for any sofa, couch or chair, but hard-wearing decorative items. The "Reverse" in the name refers to the reverse colour scheme in comparison to the Vitra Small Dot Pattern Document: here the background is dark and the dot and line pattern light. The Small Dot Pattern Document reverse Vitra cushion very nicely demonstrates that designer couple Eames' focused not only on large furniture items, but also general living concepts and took a holistic approach to interior design.
