In collaboration with Kinzo, a high-quality workspace was created in the centre of Berlin for a leading consultancy firm. The working environment combines the atmosphere of an exclusive boutique hotel with the demands of a modern office – stylish, comfortable and discreet. At the same time, it meets the highest functional standards and provides targeted support for work in the areas of leadership and change.
The key challenge was to create a high-quality, multifunctional working environment within a significantly reduced floor area – roughly half the size of the previous office. The brief called for a cohesive spatial concept that combined flexibility, a pleasant working atmosphere and efficiency. This involved developing innovative solutions to effectively combine open-plan working, focused work and representative functions within a limited space.
This was achieved through a spatial concept that replaces traditional individual offices with multi-purpose spaces. Flexible workspaces, lounge areas and an open community area facilitate both focused work and interaction and socialising. Technically sophisticated details – including a lighting concept designed to support biorhythms and an expanded metal ceiling, behind which the building services (ventilation, air conditioning) and which also serves as an acoustic element and a design feature – as well as a precisely coordinated colour and materials scheme – create a high-quality yet distinctive ambience.
