The H57 armchair from the Stuttgart manufacturer Richard Lampert is based on a prototype by Herbert Hirche, one designed for the exhibition "Interbau 1956" in Berlin. The armchair was re-discovered in 2010 on the occasion of Herbert Hirche's 100th birthday. With its seat shell separated from the metal base frame, the H57 armchair recalls the designs of Eero Saarinen and Charles & Ray Eames, but still has its very own character.

| Care | Fabric: Dust can be easily vacuumed. For the treatment of stains, a damp cloth and a mild, neutral detergent is recommended. Professional cleaning should be done in the assembled state, using upholstery foam or a mobile washer-extractor. Leather: For a longer life and to keep the leather soft and supple, the regular use of leather dubbin is recommended. Leather dubbin contains beeswax and impregnating agents that have a water and dirt repellent effect. When using leather dubbin, the leather usually darkens. Untreated leather is more prone to staining, but may also develop an interesting patina. Leather is a natural product. |
