The Peacock armchair from the Karakter x Cassina collection, originally designed by Verner Panton around 1960, impresses with its sculptural, fan-shaped silhouette made of filigree stainless steel wire mesh. Seven colourful, circular cushions break up the strict geometry of the frame and lend the iconic design object a lively, futuristic character. Despite its imposing presence, the transparent wire cover retains a visual lightness that elegantly integrates the piece of furniture into its surroundings and makes it a striking eye-catcher. The armchair is ideal as a prestigious statement piece in spacious living areas, modern hotel lobbies or as an artistic accent in minimalist offices.
