The Vitra Popsicle Clock, designed in 1957 by Charles Nelson & Charles Pollock, belongs to a very special kind of clock series: the Nelson Wall Clocks. The Vira Nelson Wall Clocks come in a variety of different, ever-changing designs, reflecting the positive spirit of optimism in the 1950s, when modern, colourful designs moved into the homes of post-war society. In high-quality walnut the Popsicle Clock is now produced by Vitra again and adds to the Nelson clock to another, particularly shapely, specimen.
