The Discus parrots from Architectmade were created in 1961 by Hans Bølling. Formally inspired by the one of the most ancient of sports, and sporting implements, the designer's affinity for parrots, was however the real inspiration for his wooden figures, which are precisely hand-painted. Individually or as a family, the Architectmade avians playfully decorate every space.
