The ES 57 ceiling spotlight was designed by Egon Eiermann for the German Pavilion at the 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels. The lamp is characterised by a clear, understated design language that is in harmony with its functionality and is therefore considered a homage to the Bauhaus style. Today the ES 57 is distributed by Tecnolumen in four colours based on the classic colours of USM furniture.
