The 118 High Gloss chair from Thonet is a classic bentwood chair in which designer Sebastian Herkner elegantly combines tradition and the contemporary. The refined seating features the mixture of the Viennese 214 coffee house chair and the Frankfurt kitchen chair, which was first developed by Bauhaus architects in the 1920s in accordance with ergonomic considerations. The high gloss finish gives the Thonet 118 a modern, sophisticated look and allows for a glamorous performance any dining room or café.
