Clear design, individual illumination: The chrome plated steel tube of the successful Thonet cantilever chair and the design principles of the Bauhaus era form the basis for the new Thonet LUM Standing Lamp by Ulf Möller. The German architect's work is distinguished by its ambitious quest for aesthetic and innovation, a philosophy which he also pursues in his design work, and with the LUM he has created a modern lighting object which impresses with its clear, reduced design and efficient illumination. And even when unilluminated the lamp in Bauhaus optics emits a strong effect; even if at first glance it doesn't resemble a light. Your childlike curiosity however forces you to reach out and touch it, at which point the automatic sensor illuminates brilliant LEDs.
