The name Inos was derived from the term "internal organisation system".
Based on a simple yet highly effective modular system all USM units are constructed from steel tubing, metal panels and brass connecting balls and thus allowing for full flexibility and configurability in the design: a fact which has helped contribute to the rise of the USM Haller Furniture System to a worldwide popularity and its advance to a genuine design classic. In addition to the flexibility in form USM Haller units are also flexible in functionality thanks to a wide range of accessories such as the USM Haller Inos CD-Support Tray for USM Haller Extension Shelf. Compatible with all USM Sideboards and Shelving Systems the USM CD holder is available in two different depths, is supplied in a set of 5 inserts and offers enough space for either 5 x 19 or 5 x 28 CDs and can be used in any 75 cm extension shelf or door or the USM A6 drawer.
