The Nuvola Rossa bookcase was designed by Vico Magistrettig for Cassina in 1977, and impresses with its unconventional design and structural sophistication. Diagonal bracing eliminates the need for side elements while hinges provide the necessary flexibility, allowing the bookcase to be folded up in a few simple steps and stored away to save space. Six levels offer ample storage space for read and unread books, vases, pictures, and other decorations.
