Christophe Marchand
Born in 1965 Christophe Marchand has been based in Zurich since 1993 where he plans and implements a variety of design projects in close cooperation with international clients. A skilled cabinet maker and a trained industrial designer, Marchand moves with great security and professionalism in a variety of design genres: in addition to the development of furniture and product designs, Marchand has also been involved in the design of numerous exhibitions for the Museum of Design Zurich and has held a teaching position at the College of Design ECAL in Lausanne. In addition. Christoph Marchand is a member of the Design Council of the furniture company Thonet and developed the S 64 VDR Atelier for the German manufacturer in 2019: an office swivel adaptation of the classic S 64 by Marcel Breuer from the year 1928.
