Any discolouration and colour residues from the galvanisation process that may have arisen during the production of chrome-plated frame parts do not represent a material defect, are not dangerous to health and have no influence whatsoever on the function/longevity of the table frame. If the deposits cannot be removed with a mild, standard household scouring milk, they can be easily removed with a paint cleaner / polish (e.g. from car accessories) using a soft cloth. We recommend that the cleaning is first carried out on a concealed area.

What is the difference between the Eiermann table and the Eiermann 2 dining table from Richard Lampert?
With the Eiermann 2 dining table, you can choose from two different sizes and different table tops. The frame is the Eiermann 2 table frame, in which the cross struts run vertically in the middle. In this way, you can sit more comfortably on the long sides of the Richard Lampert table. With the Eiermann 1 table frame, the cross struts are attached diagonally either in the middle or offset, so that it sits better on one long side.
Can the table top be used on both sides?
The melamine coated and linoleum table tops can have light tears that mean one shouldn't use the underside. The solid oak and solid core laminate table tops can however be used on both sides.
The Eiermann 2 dining table is distributed by the Stuttgart based manufacturer Richard Lampert, whose product portfolio also includes various Eiermann table frames. Although the design is based on the original design by the famous architect, it is not directly by him. In the formally reduced dining table, the cross-section is placed at right angles between the side panels, the table top is bolted firmly to the base frame, giving it a reliable stability. In addition to various Eiermann objects, Richard Lampert also distributes designs by Peter Horn, who for example designed various items of Kid's furniture, and Alexander Seifried, who among others objects is responsible for the Seesaw office chair and Bank Stijl.
