The ID Trim L office swivel chair is part of the Vitra ID Chairs designed by Antonio Citterio in 2010. A series of office chairs that meet high standards of functionality, economy and aesthetics, the Vitra ID Chairs take into account both the needs of employees and the structures and different levels of a company.
Particularly characteristic of the ID Trim L is the high backrest which allows you to sit comfortably in all positions, the quilted upholstery not only bequeathing the backrest an elegant look, but also prevents the cover from slipping. The Vitra ID Trim L is available with a variety of mechanisms: the FlowMotion version without forward tilt with seat depth adjustment, in the FlowMotion version without seat depth adjustment or as a ProMatic version without seat depth adjustment. The ProMatic mechanism adapts to the weight of the individual and is therefore ideal for users who want to use the Vitra ID Trim L swivel chair as seating in the short to medium term, for example in conference and meeting situations. The FlowMotion mechanism includes numerous functions that can be individually adapted to the user's requirements making it particularly suitable as a fixed workplace chair and a longer tasks. The ID Trim L from Vitra, as with all other ID chairs, is available with different armrests, while the integrated lumbar support and the headrest provide support for the user. The ID Trim L is also particularly versatile when it comes to colour, thereby allowing the executive chair with the striking backrest to become the centerpiece of any business area.
The ID Trim L office chair is manufactured in the production facilities at the Vitra production headquarters in Weil am Rhein in a complex process that ensures absolute precision and thus guarantees the high quality and longevity of the ID Chairs. The robust metal components are made of polished aluminium, the upholstery materials are crafted from polyurethane foam the backrest frames are polyamide, and the covers are available in polyester or leather. The maximum proportion of recycled material is around 58 percent and the chairs can be recycled up to 98 percent. Every ID Trim L office chair is tested by Vitra in its own test centre under the parameters of 15 years of use; tests which go far beyond the specified quality controls. Certificates such as the Blauer Engel, Greenguard or GS certify the excellent ergonomics, safety and environmental compatibility of the ID Chairs and are verified through to regular testing.
