The CH25 Lounge Chair from 1950 was one of the first pieces designed by Hans J. Wegner for the manufacturer Carl Hansen & Søn. The tapered legs and the seat floating over the front legs give the design classic an unmistakable lightness. The mesh of the informally elegant armchair consists of about 300 meters of paper cord, and takes about 8 to 10 hours to produce. In addition to the CH25 armchair, Wegner and Carl Hansen & Søn collaborated on countless objects, many of them design icons such as the Shell Chair or the Wishbone Chair.

| Sustainability | Carl Hansen principally uses wood sourced from Danish and sustainable forests for their furniture. The oils and soaps for the treatment of the wood as well as, for example, the paper cord used for the CH24 are sourced according to strict ecological & sustainability criteria. The materials used are all of biological origin: and as such also biodegradable.
