EOOS
Design studio EOOS was founded in 1995 by Gernot Bohmann, Harald Gründl and Martin Bergmann following their graduating from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. As a studio EOOS have realised a wide range of projects for and with international manufacturers as Alessi, Armani, Adidas, Carl Hansen & Son, Poltrona Frau or Walter Knoll. Whereas EOOS furniture designs such as the Oki side table for Walter Knoll impress through their apparently straightforward styling, exquisite materials and high-quality workmanship, for EOOS such objects represent the result of what they refer to as "poetic analysis": the analysis of an individual theme being accompanied by contemporary views and historical perspectives. For their ambitious work EOOS have already received numerous international awards.
