In 2018 industrial designer Axel Kufus developed a contemporary classic with the Egal sideboards: a system composed of plug 'n' play components that can be changed or expanded as required, thereby offering a unique combination of playfulness and fine craftsmanship. To make it easier for you to choose from this enormous variety, Moormann now also offers a range of pre-configured versions of the Egal seatboard.

| Manufacturing | Several birch veneers sheets are glued crosswise, creating a material with high dimensional stability. Nils Holger Moormann's birch plywood panels are usually surface-coated or oiled. They are manufactured in Finland. The trees grow slowly in the Finnish climate and produce fine-grained wood of consistently high quality. Knots on the edge and slight deviations in the edge colour can therefore occur. |

| Care | Light surface dirt on the untreated edges can be removed using fine-grain sandpaper. Coated surfaces can be cleaned using a soft cloth with lukewarm water and a small amount of colourless dishwashing liquid. Oiled surfaces should be simply wiped with a slightly damp cloth and, if necessary, treat with colourless oil.uchteten Tuch abwischen und ggf. mit farblosem Öl nachbehandeln. |
