| Assembly | The cantilever glides can be retrofitted to Thonet tubular steel frames. For frames with pre-drilled or pre-punched screw holes, the glides are attached using self-tapping metal screws. This process can be somewhat forceful. The Phillips screws should be hand-tightened with a flush-fitting bit and a good cordless screwdriver at low speed. In order for the screwing to take place with less resistance, we advise the use of suitable technical lubricant or some technical oil. Please apply lubricant or oil to the screws with a brush or swab and then start the assembly process. |
