What once began as a Kickstarter campaign is now one of the greatest successes of the young French design company TIPTOE: the SSD. The result of a survey in which TIPTOE asked its customers what they needed from a chair and got simple answers: comfort, aesthetics, durability and sustainability. In 2024 TIPTOE added a version made of oak to this all-round successful design - an oak version which is not only high-quality and stylish, but also comes from sustainable forestry and can be easily recycled at the end of its long lifespan.

| Function & Properties | The SSD Full Wood is a development of the SSD and TIPTOE's first product made entirely of wood. Its easy assembly and disassembly make the chair simple to maintain and allow you to carry out simple repairs yourself without having to replace the entire product. In addition the SSD Full Wood can be effortlessly dismantled and recycled at the end of its long life cycle. |

| Care | Cleaning with a damp sponge and a soft cloth is sufficient. Never use alcohol or acetone as these can damage the wood. If the wood is damaged, use a cleaning agent specifically designed for stained wood. |
| Certificates & Sustainability | Sustainability is a core aspect of TIPTOE's design philosophy. In addition to the use of water-based paints, the materials used are also carefully selected and processed to create a long-lasting product with minimal impact on the environment. The wood comes exclusively from PEFC-certified cultivation (PEFC/07-31-60 certificate) in Europe, the fittings are made of steel., thereby allowing the individual materials to be cleanly separated and recycled again if necessary. Many of the materials that TIPTOE uses are already recycled, including the packaging which consists of at least 80% recycled paper. In addition, TIPTOE has been certified as a B Corporation since October 2022. This certification measures the company's positive impact in areas such as governance, employees, community, environment, and the company's products. TIPTOE achieved a score of 90.6 points in 2024, not only well above the general median of 50.9 points, but also above the threshold of 80 points required for certification.
