Parallel to the development of the Vitra Slow Chair the brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec also developed the Slow Chair Ottoman. Just as with the lounge chair so the Vitra Ottoman features no extensive upholstery; rather, it consists of a base made of die-cast aluminium, over which a shaped, extremely resilient, fabric knit is stretched. This special fabric ensures flexibility and comfort, and is complemented by a matching cushion. Cutting a very slight figure, the Slow Chair Ottoman offers maximum comfort while its cover colours perfectly match the wide range of options available for the Slow Chair. The Vitra lounge chair and the accompanying ottoman are thus not only a visually ideal combination but also the ideal furniture for relaxing, cosy domestic evenings.
