The flower table designed by Alexander Girard for the famous Miller House in 1977 adorned the centrepiece of the house at the time: the lounge set into the floor, which became known as the ‘conversation pit’. Today, the table still stands in the centre of the lounge of the house, which now belongs to the Indianapolis Art Museum. In collaboration with Vitra, the table was further developed and is now suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
