Lisbet Friis is a true specialist when it comes to patterns, colours, and materials, and it's not just by chance that she is considered one of the most renowned textile designers of her generation. Her extensive knowledge has been integrated into various carpet collections of the home textile manufacturer Fabula Living, with who Lisbet Friis has long cooperated. Lisbeth Friis develops the ideas for her projects in the rural calm just outside Copenhagen: her studio - a converted stable. There she experiments with materials and colour concepts, takes colour schemes from nature or the urban space and translates them into patterns for fabrics. The results of these artistic investigations are not only transferred to various design assignments, but have also been shown at exhibitions all over the world.
