Ferruccio Laviani

 
Pietro Ferruccio Laviani (* 1960 in Cremona/Italy) received a design diploma from the ;Milan Polytechnikum and subsequently studied architecture at the same college. After graduation Laviani worked as freelancer with numerous companies including Memphis, Olivetti and Swatch. In 1991 Ferruccio Laviani started his collaboration with Kartell, a relationship that is still going strong. In addition to designing exhibition stands and retail outlets for Kartell, Laviani has also created numerous pieces, including his table lamps Bourgie and Take. In addition Laviani is artistic director with Ememoboli and since 2001 collaborates with Dolce & Gabanna.
