Giotto Stoppino studied architecture in Venice and Milan, where he met Vittorio Gregotti and Ludovico
Meneghetti with who he established "Architetti Associati". In 1968 Stoppino founded his
own Bureau where he specialized in town planning and design. Stoppino has been a member of the Association
of Industrial Design since 1960, serving as President 1982 to 1984. Among Giotto Stoppino's most famous
designs one must include his Alessia door handle system for Olivari, Lampe 537 for Arteluce and his
magazine rack for Kartell.
