Hans Toft Hornemann and Terkel Skou Steffensen a.k.a. Aspekt Office

Aspekte Office is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Copenhagen that was founded in 2018 by Hans Toft Hornemann and Terkel Skou Steffensen, two designers who share not only a long-standing friendship - dating back to their school days - and a shared background in industrial design, but who both gained extensive experience in renowned international design companies before founding Aspekte Office.

The studio operates in the fields of furniture design, product design, interior design and art direction. Hornemann and Steffensen's design approach is intuitive and experimental, with conceptual thinking and originality as central elements. They find inspiration in everyday life and their surroundings – they prefer to design products they would like to use themselves. In their work, function and aesthetics go hand in hand. Their goal is to create timeless, functional, yet visually minimalist design solutions.

For Hay Aspekte Office designed, among other works, the Buoy Glass pendant and table lamps. The mouth-blown glass lamps are characterised by their organic form and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. In addition Aspekte Office developed the Ono Flush Mount, a minimalist ceiling light with soft light distribution, and, likewise, produced by Hay.

In addition to their collaboration with Hay, Perspektive Office has also worked for Normann Copenhagen for whom they designed the Let collection – a series of stools and bar stools.
