The seat pad for the Thonet S 43 and S 43F cantilever is made of high-quality wool felt by the Berlin-based label Parkhaus. Specifically designed for the Bauhaus era chairs and available in a range of differing colours, the result is a harmonious interplay of seat and cushion. The cover is provided with an anti-slip coating on the underside and is available with or without a foam core for additional cushioning.

Due to a change of supplier during the 2025 production year, there was a clearly visible deviation in the colour temperature of the ‘light grey melange’ tone. We still have some remaining stock in a warmer light grey (left image). These are available while stocks last. In future, seat covers will only be supplied in the newer, slightly cooler light grey (right image). If you are unsure which version is right for you, please contact our service team.

| Care | Everyday stains and dirt can be removed with a damp cloth, brush or vacuum. For more stubborn stains either a professional chemical dry cleaning or, for pads without padding, hand washing at 30 degrees may be required.
