With the S 1200, German furniture manufacturer Thonet launched in 2014 a secretary which effortlessly compares to and references the Thonet classics from the Bauhaus period. Developed by Randolf Schott, the delicate secretary is inspired by the tubular steel designs of Marcel Breuer and Co. and thus represents the perfect complement to the popular Thonet tubular steel family. Specifically developed for the home office, the compact dimensions of the S 1200 mean it can be easily integrated into even the smallest of spaces. Available in a range of materials and colours the Thonet secretary is not only a contemporary piece of furniture but one which can be effortlessly integrated into any space.
