Over the years variations and add-ons have been developed such as the kid’s bed Spross on the Siebenschläfer shelf, but for a young designer it was certainly a perfect start in the world of design production, because with his unorthodox style Nils Holger Moormann make everything so easy...
Spross from Nils Holger Moormann is a child's bed which thanks to its lack of screws or other metal elements can be easily plugged together, almost like a modular toy. And once assembled Spross can be just as easily disassembled, a fact which combined with its relatively few component parts makes it very practical to transport and store. Designed in 2008 by Christoffer Martens Spross is crafted from birch plywood, is thus both robust and warm and pleasant to the touch and is available in a range of colours. The Moormann child's bed is supplied with a hardwood mattress rest.
