...These include such classics as Geometri by Verner Panton, Small Dot Pattern by Charles and Ray Eames or Millerstripe by Alexander Girard...
In 1960 Verner Panton designed a cushion with geometric pattern and named it, appropriately enough, Geometri; today Panton's design is part of a wider collection of Vitra cushions, a collection which also includes works by the likes of Charles and Ray Eames or Alexander Girard. And a collection which on account of their general use of pleasant colons and interesting patterns perfectly complement and contrast one another. With the Geometri cushion Verner Panton utilises the classic contrast of black and white in the form of circles and squares, the result is a decorative pattern which generates a very real cosiness in every living room.
