The drop-shaped figure of the Louis Poulsen Moser lamp owes its charcater to the Swedish potter Anu Moser: the peculiarity of the light meanwhile is to be found in the suspension system of the lampshade, a system which Louis Poulsen has patented. The lampshade is secured by three hooks with the illumination passing through the small opening in the top. Thus, a direct view of the bulb not possible, thus a less attractive energy saving bulb can be used without impairing the aesthetics.
