With the Collage 450 the Danish designer Louise Campbell designed a lamp for the Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen which is strongly oriented on natural daylight. Louise Campbell took the inspiration for the light from the countryside. In forests the sunlight is refracted by the leaves, with the Collage 450 three mutually off-set lampshades whose surfaces are perforated with organic patterns provide a similar function. The result is a pleasantly diffuse illumination and, just as in the forest, a variation of light and shade which conjures up a soothing atmosphere in any room. For its 10th anniversary the Louis Poulsen Collage 450 is being released in new and matt pastel colours.
