How do I recognise an original LC10-P table?
Every piece of furniture of the "Cassina I Maestri" collection is embossed with the signature of the designer and an identification number by way of an authenticity mark.
Is the table top removable?
Yes, the table top lies on the frame and is removable.
The Cassina LC10-P Table belongs to the Italian manufacturer's LC collection and is one of the few tables Le Corbusier designed. The LC10-P originated during the 1920s, a period during which he collaborated closely with both his cousin Pierre Jeanneret and the French designer Charlotte Perriand and which saw the trio produce many important, and commercially successful, objects. The LC10-P was first presented at the 1929 Salon d'Automne in Paris and is available in different sizes making it as practical as it is aesthetic: the low variant is perfect as a coffee table or side table in the living room or entrance area, the high Cassina table as a practical all-rounder, where you come together to eat, work or just for a cosy chat. With its square glass table top and four tubular steel legs the table emits a sense of stability and a certain elegance and is therefore deservedly included in the Cassina "I Maestri" Collection. In addition to the "I Maestri" Collection Cassina also offer the "I Contemporanei" Collection which, as the name suggests, presents works by contemporary and innovative designers.
