The Result Chair was designed in 1958 by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for the manufacturer Ahrend and is reissued today through Hay. At its initial launch the industrial-looking chair found its place in schools and public institutions - especially in the Netherlands. Today, the Result Chair from Hay also cuts a good figure in dining rooms and other living spaces.

Since 2021 Hay uses a water-based varnish without environmentally harmful substances for many wooden furniture.|
