Andries van Onck studied at the Royal Dutch Academy in Den Haag before moving onto the Hochschule für
Gestaltung in Ulm. after graduation he worked as a designer with Olivetti and as an assistant to Ettore Sottsass
before opening his own studio in Milan. Andries van Onck has created many products in different sectors, such as
electronic equipment, household appliances, furniture. One of van Onck's bravest design is without doubt his
Tiramisù step-ladder for Kartell .
