Karakter x Cassina: Extraordinary designs that go beyond the design canon

Karakter x Cassina brings together Scandinavian design culture and Italian craftsmanship. Since Cassina’s acquisition of the Danish design company in 2019, the joint collection has combined carefully curated designer furniture, lighting and home accessories with the Italian furniture manufacturer’s long-standing expertise in manufacturing and materials.

Rediscovering design classics
Karakter remains an independent brand with a distinctive identity, complementing Cassina’s portfolio with exceptional designs that draw on both historical and contemporary influences. A particular focus is placed on the rediscovery of significant 20th-century design classics. Working closely with estate administrators and rights holders, Karakter brings designs by leading designers – previously little known or never mass-produced – to market for the first time or once again. The collection is complemented by works from contemporary designers who further develop the brand’s design approach.
