Office planning with Lapalma

Lapalma was founded in 1978 by Marcato and Dario Romano in the Italian community of Padua. Developing simple contemporary furniture for the Lapalma places a particular emphasis on using only the highest quality raw materials: all wood originates from controlled cultivation, highest-quality leather, sturdy metal, and thus they realise furniture of the highest materials quality featuring technical refinement and thus furniture for a lifetime. Aesthetically, the principle focus of Lapalma is the development of harmonious shapes with clear proportions, an attitude perhaps best demonstrated in their timeless, and much copied, bar stools. Lapalma furniture has been rewarded for its high technical and material quality as well as for its well considered, rational designs, with numerous prizes, such as the Japanese Good Design Award (2001) and the FX International Interior Design Award (2003).
