Hashira lighting collection: Scandinavian design tradition meets Japanese aesthetics

The Hashira collection from Audo Copenhagen (formerly Menu) impresses with its mix of Scandinavian and Japanese styles. Inspired by traditional washi paper makers, the design studio Norm Architects created the collection in the Japandi style, which combine the aesthetics of the Far East with the minimalist clarity of Scandinavia. The collection includes table, floor and pendant lamps which thanks to their minimalist design fit into any environment.

Perfect harmony with the Hashira lighting collection from Audo Copenhagen (formerly Menu)

1. The Hashira Table Lamp is perfect for workplaces, small living areas or the bedside table. With its cylindrical shape it gently diffuses the light through the translucent linen fabric and is reminiscent of Japanese lanterns. The base is made of ash and gives the Hashira table lamp both a minimalist and a natural touch. In its simplicity, the table lamp radiates timelessness and rounds off every furnishing style.

2. The Hashira Cluster Pendant above the dining table in the living room or in the kitchen cuts a particularly good figure. The elegant hanging light combines three of the pendant light shades and creates a feeling of subtle luxury. It is available in two sizes and perfectly combines tradition and modernity. The columnar shape that is so characteristic of the Hashira collection was also used for the Hashira Pendant. Like the other Audo Copenhagen Hashira lights, it is covered with translucent fabric through which the graphic structure of the inside shines through.

3. The Hashira floor lamp is recommended for lounge areas or the sofa corner. Its silhouette, which is also cylindrical, scatters the light diffusely in several directions and fills the room with a soft ambience - soft, reserved and unobtrusive.
